Lambert KEK, born in Miljanovac. Fallen in Russia as German soldier.

Johann KOGLER, *30. May 1899 in Uljanik to Josip and Marija, nee Kraker. Killed by Partisans on 29. December 1943 in the forest of Radna Nada besides the village of Gornji Borki. A civilian.

Tevih KONRAD, *29 September 1899 in Mali Bastaji to Jakob and Katarina, nee Laipold. He was a photographer, married to Terezia Knolmayer, father of one. From Uljanik. Killed by the Partisans. A civilian.

Ivan TENCHINGER, *2. December 1913 in Imsovac to Georg and Eva, nee Pofek. Killed in his own house by the cetniks on 29 September 1945. Owner of a dairy. Killed after the war ended!

Karl VUDI, *1884 in Daruvar to Johann and Marija, nee Ruska. Lived in Miljanovac. Died in Krndija's concentration camp on 29 January 1946 on typhus. Buried there on 30 January 1946.

Adolf VUDI, *16 October 1909 in Miljanovac to Karl and Anna, nee Smid (Schmid). Worked for the railway in Srijemski Raj. Caught by the Partisans with some of his colleagues, dragged to the forest where they were forced to remove their clothes and all were killed at gunpoint.

DEUTSCH, Ivan, *25 Apr 1878 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Parents: D., Ivan and Elizabeta, nee Vecl. Danube Swabian, rkth., farmer. Lived in Sokolovac. Taken to death camp Krndija. Died 30 Jan 1946 on typhus. Civilian victim. Registered by the court in Daruvar as death R 74/53. Witnessed in 1953 by Bischof, Mirko from Krestelovac and Kek, Ivan from Sokolovac, who survived the death camp.

GABRIEL, Hansi, *1915 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Danube Swabian, farmer, single. Lived in Sokolovac. Killed. Was a German soldier, as per Fösto, Vendel.

GABRIEL, Ivan, *24 June 1877 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Parents: G., Franjo and Liza, nee Schafhauser. Danube Swabian, rkth, married to Hasenfratz, Magdalena, father of six: John, Stevan, Joseph, Anton, and Franz and one daugther. Lived in Sokolovac. Taken to death camp of Valpovo. Died on typhus 23 Feb 1946. Civilian. Death registered as number R-239/57 by the court of Daruvar.

GABRIEL, Ivan, *1912 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Danube Swabian, farmer, single. Lived in Sokolovac. Reason of death not known. Was a German soldier as per Fösto, Vendel.

GABRIEL, Magdalena, nee Hasenfratz, *18 Jul 1884 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Parents: G., Georg and Margita, nee Smith. Danube Swabian, rkth, married, farmer, one child. Lived in Sokolovac. Taken to death camp of Valpovo. Died on typhus 3 Feb 1946. Civilian victim. Her daughter Magdalena was in the same death camp but she survived. Death registry number R-239/57 as per the court in Daruvar.

GABRIEL, Stjepan, *23 Jan 1911 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Parents Ivan G. and Magdalena, nee Hasenfratz. Danube Swabian, farmer, married to Kristiana. Lived in Sokolovac. In June 1945 taken to death camp of Bjelovar. Killed. Civilian victim. Death registered as number 276/54 by the court in Daruvar.

HORVAT, Terezija, *12 Sept 1889 in Sokolovac. Mother Horvat, Bara. Croatian, rkth, farmer, lived common law with Liglo, Ivan, one child. Lived in Sokolovac. Taken by the Partians to death camp of Valpovo. Died 3 Feb 1946 on typhus. Buried  on the cemetery of Valpovo. Civilian victim. Death registry number R-120/57 by the court in Daruvar.

KAPPEL, Johan, *1922 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Father K., Peter. Danube Swabian, farmer, single. Lived in Sokolovac. Reason of death not known.

KAPPEL, Josef, *1924 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Danube Swabian, farmer,  single. Lived in Sokolovac. Reason of death not known. Was a German soldier as per Fösto Vendel.

KEK, Karlo, *12 Apr 1903 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Parents K., Josip and Marija, nee Kirchler. Rkth, married. Not known if any children. Lived in Sokolovac. Killed in the battle on 17 Dec 1943 next to the village of Gorjani. Was a German soldier (MKR).

KERN, Ivan, *30 Jan 1925 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Parents K., Josip and Ana, nee Schneider. Danube Swabian, rkth, farmer, single, no children. Lived in Sokolovac. Killed in the battle with Partisans on 7 Oct 1943 near Mandicevci, city hall Drenje. Burried in Djakovo. Death listed in the Djakovo parish church books on 11 July 1944. Was a German soldier. (MKR)

KIHLER, Ivan, *11 July 1925 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Parents K., Josip and Roza, nee Merkl. Danube Swabian, rkth, farmer, single. Lived in Sokolovac. Killed in the battle at Mandicevci, city hall Drenje on 7 Oct 1943, as notified by Waffen SS in Croatia, Zagreb on 14 Oct 1943. Was a German soldier. (MKR)

KILINGER, Josip, * in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Danube Swabian, farmer,  single. Lived in Sokolovac. Reason of death not known. Was a German soldier as per Fösto, Vendel.

KRONSTAN, Franjo, *7 Oct 1921 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Parents K., Franjo and Ana, nee Kraker. Danube Swabian, married to Gorub, Anica, not known if any children. Lived in Sokolovac. Was a German soldier. Death registered by the court in Daruvar as #II R-53/49-1. Was on his way home when he was killed in 1943. (MKR #100)

LIGL, Ivan, *9 Dec 1885 in Blagorodovac. Parents L., Ivan and Ana, nee Freivogl. Danube Swabian, rkth, lived common law with Horvat, Teresia, daughter Ana (later married name Siter), farmer. Lived in Sokolovac. Taken to death camp in Valpovo. Died 27 Feb 1946 on pneumonia. Civilian victim. Buried in the cemetery in Valpovo. Death registry number R 120/57 by the court in Daruvar. Witness: Kapel, Franjo, who survived. (Was 29 years old in 1957).

VAJDINGER, Pavao, *31 Dec 1923 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Parents: V. Pavao and Liza, nee Mohr. Danube Swabian, rkth, single, farmer. Lived in Sokolovac. Killed in the battle with the Partisans at Vetova on 19 March 1943. Was a German soldier. Buried in Osijek. (MKR)

VAJDINGER, Peter, *1922 in Sokolovac, city hall Dezanovac. Father V. Peter. Danube Swabian, farmer, single. Lived in Sokolovac. Cause of death unknown. Was a German soldier as per Fösto, Vendel.

WEILER, Josip, *1869 in Hungary. Married, at least father of one, farmer. Lived in Sokolovac. Taken to the death camp in Krndija in 1945. Died December 1945 on typhus. Civilian victim. Registered by the court in Daruvar as death number R 150/55. Died 31. December 1945 as per witness Deutsch, Ivan from Krestelovac, who survived.

DARUVAR'S VICTIMS

ASPRIJAN, Paul, *21 June 1919 in Daruvar. Parents A., Josip and Marija, nee Mlarkuci. Killed on 10 Oct 1942 near Stalingrad. Burried in Karpovki on the Polish Roman Catholic cemetery. His mother Marija was officially notified 26 Nov 1942. Was a German soldier, a legionary.

KANNENGIESSER, Franjo, Danube Swabian, rkth. Barber and dance instructor. Lived in Daruvar. Taken by the Partisans in 1944 to Gornje Borke. Killed with a gun between Pivnice and Suhopolje on 7 Feb 1945. Civilian victim.

KREPFL, Paula, *7 Apr 1913 in Hrastovac. Parents K., Ferdo and Marija, nee Kurtz. Danube Swabian. Lived in Daruvar. Was taken in September 1944 by the government officials to camp Bastaje, later to camp Gornje Borke, where she was killed. Civilian victim. The court in Daruvar registered her death under number R 288/54. Died 16 May 1945.

Another KREPFL was killed in camp Gornje Borke. A bank employee, also from Daruvar. No other info available.
