 Borova Kosa

1. Antinn Brener, born ca. 1920 in Borovoa Kosa, Đulovac' city hall. Mother Ana. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, three children, proffessor. Last place of  residence: Borova Kosa. Civilian. The members of OZN-e took him after the war via Grabar towards Daruvar. On the way they killed him. His wife found him and buried him at the cemetery of Borova Kosa. Witness: Kata Šestan, Velika Trapinska.

2. Stjepan Hausknecht, born 20. August 1909 in Brđan, Đulovac city hall. Father Petar, mother Marija, nee Balog. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, one child. Last place of  residence: Borova Kosa. German soldier. Killed in the battle. MKR.

3. Vinko Valter, born 1912. Father Josip, mother Ana. Danube Swabian, rkth., farmer. Last place of  residence: Borova Kosa. German soldier. Refused to surrender to the English Army. Killed by Celje in the battle with the Russian and Yugoslavian Partisans. Daruvar court declared him dead under #R 217/55.

Ðulovac

1. Ivan Ditz, born 6. January 1899 in Antunovac. Father Ivan, mother Ana, nee Eiserle. Danube Swabian, rkth., married , farmer. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Member of HDV, domobran. Missing in the war. Witness: Jozo Ditz, Đulovac. MKV.

2. Antun Fritz, born 5. June 1914 in Đulovc. Father Josip, mother Terezija, nee Bachstädter. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, railway worker. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Civilian. Arrested by the OZN-a after Christmas 1944. Was taken first to Pakrac, and later to Borke. Killed. Daruvar court declared him dead under #R 200/48.

3. Franjo Fritz, born 16. April  1909 in Đulovac. Father Josip, mother Terezija, nee Bachstädter. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, three children, blacksmith. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. German soldier. Killed in Ruma. Witness: Pavle Hasak. MKR.

4. Petar Fritz, born 1913 in Đulovac. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, two children, wagon maker. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. German soldier. Killed at Križni put by Pčelića. Source: HDA BJ.

5. Andrija Heinzl. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, four children, farmer. Last place of  residence: Đulovac-Krivaja. Civilian. Partisans took him on 12. July 1942 from the field known as Pavlovača as he was cutting the wheat. They killed him. Two of his sons were in the German army, their fate is not known. Witness: Josip Horvat, Kutina. 6. Đuro Kapelner, born 1879 in Esztergar, Hungary. Father Stjepan, Mother Katarina. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, two children, farmer. Civilian. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Killed by the Partisans on 27. August 1942 in his vinyard. Daruvar court declared him dead under #. R 159/57-7. MKIN.

7. Ferdinand Kempf, born 19. May 1912 in Đulovac. Father Ferdinand, mother Ana, nee Hindi. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, seven children, farmer. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Civilian. Taken by the Partisans and killed. MKR.

8. Rudolf Kempf, born 1890 in Đulovac. Father Franjo, mother Francika, nee Strafzer. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, two children, farmer. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Civilian. Taken by the Partisans and killed at Borke. MKV.

9. Paula Martello. Danube Swabian, rkth., city hall clerk. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Civilian. As the Partisans entered Đulovac on 18. August 1943 they took her away and killed her. 10. Pedi Maticka. Danube Swabian, rkth., farmer. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Civilian. Killed by the Partisans at Đulovac. Witnesses: Ivan Maticka (Zagreb) and Pavle Hasak (Đulovac).

11. Vendel Mileis, born 28. June 1911 at Krivaj, city hall of Đulovac. Father Vencl, mother Terezija, nee Schafhauser. Danube Swabian, rkth., bricklayer, married, four children. Last place of  residence: Đulovac, Krivaja hamlet. German soldier. Killed at the battle against the Partisans in 1944 at Pčelića. MKR.

12. Antun Müller, born 1897 in Đulovac. Danube Swabian, rkth., married , four children, farmer and horse wagon driver. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Civilian. 13. Josip Sautner, born 24. May 1911 in Krivaja, city hall Đulovac. Father Stjepan, mother Elizabeta, nee Lisak. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, two children, wagon maker. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Civilian. Taken by the Partisans to Borke and killed. MKR.

14. Stjepan Sautner, born 20. April  1906 in Đulovac. Father Stjepan, mother Vincencija, nee Erby. Danube Swabian,  rkth., farmer, married, two children. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Civilian. In 1943 the Partisans took him out of his house and killed him. Declared to be dead by the court in Daurvar under #R 67/69.

15. Jozef Sipl, born in Đulovac (older person). Danube Swabian, rkth., married, two children, farmer and railway engineer. Last place of  residence: Đulovac. Civilian. Killed by the Partisans. Witness: Slavica Stigleitner.

16. Dragutin Špandler, born 2. November 1893 in Krivaja hamlet, city hall Đulovac. Father Martin, mother Marijana, nee Heinzl. Danube Swabian, rkth., farmer. Last place of  residence: Đulovac, Krivaja hamlet. Civilian. On 3. November 1943 taken by the Partisans from Đulovca to Gornje Borke. Schot on 15. November 1943 in Skoblari. Declared dead by the court in Daurvar under #R 709/52.

Dragutin Špangler, 2

17. Martin Špandler, born 1869 in Mikleuš, city hall Mikleuš. Father Ivan, mother Klara, nee Hedfek. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, farmer, eleven children. Last place of  residence: Đulovac, Krivaja hamlet. Civilian. Local Serb Partisans called him on 10. September or 1943 to come out of his house and when he did so, they killed him. Declared dead by the court in Daurvar under #R 28/1964-12.

1. Franjo Štromajer, born 25. February 1925 in Koreničani, city hall of Đulovac. Father Pavao, mother Kata, nee Kopf. Danube Swabian, single, farmer. German soldier. Last place of  residence: Koreničani. Killed in 1944. MKR.

2. Pavao Štromajer. Danube Swabian, married , three children, farmer and miller. Last place of  residence: Koreničani. Civilian. Taken by the Partisans prior to Christmas 1942 and killed on 11. January 1943 in Gornje Borke (boračke medow). Daruvar district court confiscated his assets under #R 501-45. Witness: Marija Kuharić, Zagreb.

 

 

Kravljak

1. Franjo Bišof, born 6. September 1906 in Apatin, Bačka. Father Franjo, mother Katarina, nee Fischer. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, farmer. Last place of  residence: Kravljak. Civilian. As the Partisans entered Đulovac on 27. August 1942, many people were arrested and killed that day. Franjo Bišof was one of them. The court in Daruvar declared him dead under # R 7/68.

 

Mala Babina Gora

Civilian. On 15. March 1942 the Partisans shot him in front of his house door. Died the next day on 16. March 1942 in the hospital in Pakrac. Family thrown out of the town, and assets confiscated. INDB-a took him out of his house on 27. May 1946 and killed. Declared by the court in Daruvar as deceased under, #R 378/53.

5. Lovro Remert, born 8. December 1912 in Veliki Miletinac, city hall  Đulovac. Father Lovro, mother Gertrinda, nee Baček. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, two children, farmer. Last place of  residence: Veliki Miletinac. Civilian. Tortured and killed by the Serb Mikelić the same evening as his brother-in-law Josip Romozija from V. Bastaji. MKR. 6. Lovrenc Remert, born 1. January 1887 in Himelshasa, Hungary. Father Petar, mother Katarina, nee Zianer. Danube Swabian, rkth., married, three children, farmer. Last place of  residence: Veliki Miletinac. Civilian. The Partisans tied him to a wagon, draged him behind and killed at Mali Dapčevici. MKV. Witness: Kata Šestan.
